A sweet or salad breakfast is served daily, though you can request this to be savoury. The farm’s green landscapes have lots of outdoor furniture for relaxing moments. There is also a children’s playground.
The Val d’ Orcia is famous for its typical dishes : “pici”, “panzanella”, “cantucci” and other delicacies . But the most famous dish in Contignano is undoubtedly the “raviolo”, wich is dedicated a festival during the second/third week in august. On request it is possible to organize Tuscan cooking classes .
On request you can do tastings of the wines produced by Orcia DOC / Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Brunello di Montalcino. “La Montalla” is the ideal place for visiting the city of art and medieval towns of Tuscany and learn about the traditions of the Val d’Orcia. On request you can take guided tours in Pienza, Montalcino and Montepulciano.
